Command Arms Sniper Stock

I've had the stock for about 2 months now. The monopod has been on back order for several months due to some issues that required retooling and making new dies for parts. The monopod arrived today and I was able to install it myself in relatively short order. With this, I think I am done adding to this rifle. Well, until I get my .50 Beowulf upper anyway.

And here's some of me at the range before I had the monopod for the stock.

In case anyone is wondering, it's a Stag. :ok:

Very cool. What do they run? Have you ever shot with a Magpul PRS stock? I have been eyeing the PRS for a while for my colt with 20" barrel.

Edit: I see $399 retail, some sites around $369.

It cost me about tree fiddy with the monopod. I was looking at the Magpul as well. I think they actually make a stock with a monopod too. I've never used one, but they look pretty solid. I'll probably consider one for my next AR. One thing I really like about the CA stock is the cheek rest. It moves forward as well as up and down, allowing you to comfortably get closer to the scope. I also love being able to lower the butt plate with the CA stock. I've got a long frame and hate having to crunch my neck down.

Looks real nice. I put a hold on my gun expenditures, but it is getting hard to resist.

Have a Colt Sporter Competition (1992) that would love a nice stock and maybe a DD Omega rail with bipod (larue mount).

Must resist!

Nice looking rifle. How does the c-mag work for you? I just ordered one and am waiting on delivery...that and a ton of ammo to feed it.

I've only used it once, but it fed great. No problems so far.

S,
Take the mono to the range and get back with us on how it worked. I love it's look.

I must admit I no longer own any AR style rifles, but that one is sweet. Having that rear support will be ideal for taking longer shots.

Go out and burn some more ammo. Don't forget to take some 'before mono/after mono' target pix so we can see how well it works, as I'm sure there WILL be a difference.

Great purchase. You should get years of service out of it.

Is that Kenosha gun club, that's not far from me.

Actually, it's in Kankakee. It's not a very large range. I kind of like it better that way.

Wallew: I will certainly get some before and after shots posted. I'm not sure when I'll be going out to the range next, but it's open all year and I've got a couple thousand rounds :ok:
